Chief Ben Lowers paid tribute to former Clinton Police Chief Mike Reidy his remarks at the April 26 Arbor Day ceremony. Reidy's wife Joann and sons Billy and Joe, attended the ceremony where a Greenspire Linden tree was planted in honor of the chief who passed away on April 27, 2024.

Local children and members of the Reidy family helped plant the Greenspire Linden tree in the Clinton Arboretum located at East Jefferson and Taylor Street.
Clinton students who were winners of the Arbor Day Post Contest were recognized at the Arbor Day ceremony, along with the Junior Foresters from Clinton Elementary School.
