Seasonal monthly brush pick-up for 2025 has come to an end for the season, except in the case of major storm damage that may require supplemental collection. Residents needing to dispose of additional yard waste may take it to the Yard Waste Facility during the business hours listed below.

Elevator Modernization Project to Begin May 14th

Beginning Thursday, May 14, 2026, the elevator at City Hall will be temporarily out of service as work begins on the elevator modernization project.

We understand this may be an inconvenience and appreciate your patience as these improvements are completed. With water bills due on Friday, May 15th, accommodations will be available for anyone unable to use the stairs. Please contact the Water Department at 217-935-3432 or City Hall at 217-935-9438, and a staff member will gladly meet you to assist with bill payment.
