Monday, April 28th work will begin at the water treatment plant for the lime silo upgrades. It will take approximately two weeks to complete the upgrades. During this time-frame you can expect discoloration in the water, there will be no harm consuming or going about your daily needs. Upon the completion of the upgrade, we will be going through routine flushing to clear the system out.
If you have questions, call 217-935-6511.

The five Welcome to Clinton signs at the entrances to the city were spruced up this week just in time for the Apple n Pork Festival. Beautiful fall mums from Mariah's Mums were planted by Sheryl Hodges, Mayor Helen, Jessica Allhands with J Squared Aquatics and Edith Brady-Lunny (not pictured.) The new planters will be decorated seasonally by volunteers to add some color to visitors to our community.
