Reliable city services are a cornerstone of any successful community. Clinton’s Fire Department, led by the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety, is just that kind of entity. Our department staff includes: Interim Fire Chief David Dallas and Assistant Fire Chief Raymond James provide their leadership and oversee the employment of three full-time engineers, and a large number of volunteer firefighters.
Committed to public safety, the Fire Department tries to carry 42 workers on its roster. Our fire district includes not only Clinton, but surrounding areas such as Clinton Lake and the Nuclear Power Plant. The department is equipped with two Thermal Imaging cameras, two Jaws-of-Life, five fire trucks, and a suburban rescue vehicle.
