As the seasons change, so do the responsibilities of the Street & Sewer Division. During the winter months, jobs include snow removal, tree pruning/removal, and placing seasonal light displays. Once spring arrives alley repair becomes a major point of focus, with main line sewer cleaning beginning. As we head into summer street maintenance becomes the priority with sewer cleaning continuing. Finally, during the fall season leaf pickup is performed, along with preparation for winter. Sewer cleaning operations come to an end. Throughout the year street maintenance is done as needed along with any necessary sewer repair. The city also provides brush pickup once a month (done on the 3rd Monday of each month).
